Leadership Team

David C. Dvorak

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Dvorak is a distinguished business leader with over 20 years of executive operating experience with global healthcare technology companies. He served in various executive positions with Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. from 2001 to 2017, including as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2017. During his tenure, Zimmer Biomet was built into a Fortune 500 Company with revenues growing from $1.2 billion to $7.7 billion and market capitalization appreciating from $6.2 billion to $25.8 billion. Mr. Dvorak was also previously an executive officer with STERIS plc from 1996 to 2001. In addition, he served on the Boards of Directors of St. Jude Medical, Inc. from 2015 to 2016 and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) from 2007 to 2017, including as Chairman from 2012 to 2014. He currently also serves on the Boards of Directors of Mach Medical, LLC, Mesentech Inc., Insurgical, Inc., THINK Surgical, Inc. and Beyond Cancer, Ltd.

Mr. Dvorak holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from Miami University (OH) and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Ping Zhang

President

Over the last two decades, Dr. Zhang has served as a company executive for two private and two public healthcare technology companies. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation and Chief Technology Officer at MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of big data analytics serving 1,500 healthcare providers and payers in North America and the UK. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Epocrates, a mobile and cloud-based health pioneer widely recognized for developing the most popular point-of-care medical applications used by physicians. Before Epocrates, Dr. Zhang was Vice President of Technology at Harris Healthcare Solutions and Executive Vice President at Carefx where he managed technology strategy, product development and client delivery globally. He also served in a corporate executive position at QuadraMed, and a senior management position at Siemens.

Dr. Zhang earned his bachelor's degree at the age of 19. He holds both a Master of Science degree and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Su-Ho Hwang

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Hwang has over 20 years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering a wide range of complex and scalable products. He led the development of QuadraMed Quantim, a healthcare information management (HIM) application suite, which was later acquired by Nuance Communication. Mr. Hwang also led the development of the industry's leading academic e-book solution for ProQuest.

Mr. Hwang earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from UCLA, where he also conducted research in Artificial Intelligence as a Ph.D. candidate.

Marie Goddard

Head of Product Management

Ms. Goddard has over 20 years of clinical, management and leadership experience in hospital nursing, the surgeon’s office, public health, and home health (Medicare certified). She has been an ANCC certified informatics nurse for over 15 years. Ms. Goddard has over 20 years of experience in healthcare informatics and leadership roles, such as the Director of Clinical Informatics at a regional university hospital. She led the EMR clinical documentation build and implementation for SCLHS, an eight hospital, enterprise-wide health system. She’s also served as the Clinical Product Manager and was responsible for many product lines at MedeAnalytics, Carefx/Harris and Cerner.

Ms. Goddard earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Avila University, a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems at University of Phoenix and worked towards a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics at UC Davis.

Mr. Hurd serves as Operating Partner at Cressey and Company. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and healthcare IT leadership, with expertise in product and go-to-market innovation as well as building strategic partnerships. He has served as CEO of three healthcare technology companies. Mr. Hurd's experience includes Chairman and CEO of MedeAnalytics, a big data analytics solution for providers and health plans, CEO of Epocrates, a mobile clinical application used by half the physicians in the US, and Chairman and CEO of Carefx which enables clinical interoperability of data and applications to providers.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. He serves on various boards including Partners Healthcare Innovations and Ability Networks.

Michael Wilstead

Board Member

Mr. Wilstead has served as an Operating Partner to Cimarron Healthcare Capital since 2017. He has been an executive in healthcare, information technology and education companies for over 30 years. Mr. Wilstead served as President and CEO of Career Step, LLC, an online medical education school with over 30,000 students worldwide. Before Career Step, he was President and CEO of the sixth largest healthcare staffing company, InteliStaf Healthcare. Prior to InteliStaf Healthcare, Mr. Wilstead was President and COO of QuadraMed, a publicly traded healthcare IT software company. Mike has also held various sales, management and executive positions at STERIS/AMSCO International, a service and medical device provider.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
